Prohibition 1920s (A)

The Dry Law, understood as the prohibition of selling alcoholic beverages, was in force in the United States between January 17, 1920 and December 6, 1933. It was established by the Eighteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution and repealed by the 21st Amendment.
